RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA IN MEMORIAM
TO REIMER L. CRITCHLOW, RETIRED CAPTAIN IN 'ME THERE DEPARTMENT
WITH HEARTFEIE GRIEF, the Council of the City of Alameda records the death of one of its
former employees, EIMER L. CRITCHLOW, 1060 had served the City for a period of twenty—seven years.
WHEREAS, Mr. Critchlow was employed by the City' of Alameda on January 1, 1921, as a. Fireman,
and had rioen through the ranks to be appointed on September I, 198.8. to the position of Fire Captain,
in which capacity he was serving at. the time of his retirement on July -.15, 1948; and
WHEREAS, Er. CriteHlow had performed his duties diligently and faithfully and in full.
cooperation with hie fellow employees.
OW, THEREFORE, DE IT RESOLVED that, in recognition of Mr. Critchlow/s loyalty and efforts
or behalf of the City, the Council of the City of Alameda hereby expresses its gratitude for his
capable service during the long period of his employment, and its sense of personal loss in his naosing.
RE IT FURTHER RESOINED that this Resolution be spread in -Anil upon the minutes of this
meeting, and a copy thereof be forwarded to the famil,y of Mr. Critchlow, that it may extend to its
members a sincerb expression of sympathy and condolence in their hereamement; ord.
DE IT' FURTHER. RESOLVED that when this meeting of the Counoil of the City of Alameda adjourns,
it shall do so in respect to the memory of EIMER I— CRITCHLOUA
