NEEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared. Sjecificatione 1-1- ±1 Provisiens and Plane for
the construction of arch culverts at the intersectimn of Jackson Street and Court Street, No. Pg
1-69-1S, and filed in the office of the City Clerk on November 4, 1969;

cations, Special Provdoions and Plans, be, and the same are hereby approved. and adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the perfonmance and ±0 3± of 1- work specified in said.
Specifications and Provisions be and the same is hereby authorized.
EE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council ±. the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids
up to the hour of illb00 o'clock a.m. on :FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 1969, for furnishing to the City of' all
labor, materials', machinery, tools and equimment necessary for ttm work hereinabove referred to, in
accordance with said Specifications and. Provisions. Bids must be presented. to the City Clerk, iu the
City Nall, Alameda, California, snder sealed covor and plainly marked. on the outside, "Proposal for
Culvert Conotruction at Jackson Street and Court Street," or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the CiTN
of Alameda, to the responsible bidder mTm submits the lowest and best bid. The right i8 reserved to
reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had 13 any prospective bidder on application to
the City Engineer, 0 his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda. Timms-Stan, a netiee calling
for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and. of said Specificatiens and
Provisions.
