CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 7668
ORDERING VACATION OF TWO UNUSED PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENTS
(SANITARY SEWER AND STORM DRAINAGE - WITHIN TRACT 3069)
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the certain easement heretofore
dedicated for public purposes (sanitary sewer), being situate in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda,
State of California, and more particularly described as follows:
COMMENCING at the City Survey Monument near the southeasterly terminus of Shorepoint
Court, as said Court is shown upon that certain map entitled, "TRACT 3069,
ALAMEDA, CALIFORNIA," filed July 11, 1969, in Book 52 at pages 90 and 91,
in the Office of the County Recorder of Alameda County, said monument having
coordinates Y = 464,763.25 feet and X = 1,488,829.06 feet based on the
California Coordinate System, Zone III, as are all bearings and distances
in this description;
THENCE S, 81°23'12" W. 70.00 feet to the most northerly corner of Lot 7 as said lot
is shown upon said map;
THENCE along the northwesterly line of said Lot 7 S. 41°0000" N. 10.00 feet to the
TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING of this description;
THENCE S. 49°0000" E. 6.00 feet;
THENCE S. 41°0000" W. 285.03 feet;
THENCE N. 63°48'58" W. 10.35 feet;
THENCE N. 41°00'00" E. 287.67 feet;
THENCE S. 49°0000" E. 4.00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING,
is hereby ordered vacated pursuant to the provisions of Section 50443 of the Government Code of the
State of California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the certain easement heretofore dedicated for public purposes
(storm drainage), being situate in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State of California, and more
particularly described as follows:
COMMENCING at the City Survey Monument having coordinates Y = 464,991,09 feet and X =
1,488,675.61 feet based on the California Coordinate System, Zone III, as are all
bearings and distances in this description, said monument being in Shorepoint Court
as said Court and monument are shown upon that certain man entitled,"TRACT 3069,
ALAMEDA, CALIFORNIA," filed for record July 11, 1969, in Book 62 of Maps at pages
90 and 91, Alameda County Records;
THENCE along a radial line N. 31°02'22" E. 22,00 feet to a point upon the northeasterly line
of said Shorepoint Court;
THENCE southeasterly along said northeasterly line on the arc of a gurve concave southwesterly
having a radius of 347 feet through a central angle of 26 5701" for an arc distance
of 163.22 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING of this description, a radial line of
said curve through last said point bearing N. 57°5923" E.
THENCE leaving said northeasterly line N. 50°24'20" E. 40,65 feet;
THENCE N. 58°4847" E. 255.78 feet to the northwesterly prolongation of the southwesterly line
of a 15 feet wide Storm Drainage Easement as said easement is shows upon said map
of Tract 3059;
THENCE along said northwesterly prolongation S. 63°4858" E. 11.87 feet;
THENCE S. 58°4847 W. 302.37 feet to a point on said northeasterly 1pe of Shorepoint Court,
(said curve having a tangent bearing at this point of N. 31 2022" W.);
THENCE northwesterly along said curve concave southwesterly having a radius of 347.00 feet
through a central angle of 00 4015" for a distance of 4.06 feet to the TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING,
is hereby ordered vacated pursuant to the provisions of Section 50443 of the Government Code of the State
of California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda hereby finds and declares that
(1) said easements ordered vacated herein are, and each is, unnecessary for present ur prospective public
use, and (2) said easements have never been used by the City of Alameda for any purpose whatever since
April 15, 1969, the date of their acceptance by the City, to the date of this resolution.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
1st day of September, 1970, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Fore, Levy, Longaker, McCall and President La Croix, Jr., (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
