Resolution 07750CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 7750 DECLARING INTENTION TO VACATE PORTION OF PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT, FIXING DATE FOR HEARING THEREON, AND ORDERING PUBLICATION AND POSTING OF NOTICE THEREOF (SOUTHERLY THRFF-FEET OF TRACT 3271) BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that, pursuant to the Public Service Easements Vacation Law (Secs. 50430 and following, Government Code of California), and upon the submis- sion to and action by the Planning Board of said matter, the public interest requires, and said Council hereby declares its intention to order, the vacation of that certain public utility easement in the City of Alameda, being a three-foot wide strip along the southerly property line of Tract 3271, more parti- cularly described as follows: In the southwesterly portion of Lot 2, Property Division Map 153, Alameda, California. COMMENCING at the monument having coordinates Y=463,803.79 feet and X=1,493,280.68 feet, based on the California Coordinate System, Zone III, as are all bearings and distances in this description, said monument being at the intersection of the monument lines of Otis Drive (84 ft. wide) and Willow Street (60 ft wide) as said monument, Drive, and Street are shown upon that certain map entitled, "PROPERTY DIVISION MAP 153, ALAMEDA, CALIFORNIA," filed for record September 10, 1965 in Book 47 of Maps at page 60, County of Alameda Records; THENCE along said monument line of Otis Drive N. 63°4858" W. 42.94 feet; THENCE S. 25°1102" W. 32.00 feet to the most northerly corner of Lot 2 of said Property Division Map 153; THENCE along the northwesterly lire of said lot S. 29°1203" W. 186.80 feet to the most westerly corner thereof; THENCE along the southwesterly line of said lot S. 55°1319" E. 11.07 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE N. 29°1203" E. 3.01 feet; THENCE S. 55°1319" E. 75.57 feet to the southeasterly line of said Lot 2; THENCE along said southeasterly line S. 34°46'41" W. 3.00 feet to the most southerly corner thereof; THENCE along the southwesterly line of said Lot 2 N. 55°1319" W. 75.28 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the time and place hereby fixed for hearing all persons interested in the proposed vacation is: Tuesday, April 6, 1971 7:30 o'clock p.m., Council Chamber, City Hall, Alameda, California. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish a copy of this resolution twice, once in each of two successive weeks prior to said hearing, in the official newspaper of the City of Alameda, and to cause to be posted notices of said proposed easement vacation in the manner prescribed by Section 50441 of said Code. * * * * * * * * * * I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 16th day of March, 1971, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Fore, Levy, Longaker, McCall and President La Croix, Jr., (5).
