CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 7755
ORDERING VACATION OF UNUSED PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT (PUBLIC
UTILITY EASEMENT - WITHIN TRACT 3253)
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the certain easement heretofore
dedicated for public purposes (3-foot wide public utility easement), being situate in the City of
Alameda, County of Alameda, State of California, and more particularly described as:
All that real property situate in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State of
California described as follows:
Portion of Lot 25, Block 5, Tract 1866, recorded in Book 38 of Maps at pages 50 through
54 inclusive, Alameda County Records described as follows:
COMMENCING at the most easterly corner of Lot 26, Block 5, es said lot and block are shown
on the above mentioned map;
THENCE South 63°4858" East (based on the California Coordinate System Zone III as are all
bearings and distances in this description) 4.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING;
THENCE continuing South 63°4858" East 53.00 feet;
THENCE North 26°1102" East 36.00 feet;
THENCE South 63°4858" East 3.00 feet;
THENCE South 26°11 02" West 58.00 feet;
THENCE South 63°4858" East 70.00 feet;
THENCE South 26°11'02" West 3.00 feet;
THENCE North 63°4858" West 73.00 feet;
THENCE North 26°1102" East 22.00 feet;
THENCE North 63°4858" West 53.00 feet;
THENCE North 26°1102" East 3.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING,
is hereby ordered vacated pursuant to the provisions of Section 50443 of the Government Code of California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda hereby finds and determines
that (1) the said public service easement herein ordered vacated is unnecessary for present or prospective
public use, and (2) said easement has not been used for the purpose for which it was acquired for more
than five (5) consecutive years preceding the vacation herein ordered.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
16th day of March, 1971, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Fore, Levy, Longaker, McCall and President La Croix, Jr., (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
