Resolution 07760CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 7760
FIXING TIME AND MANNER OF PAYMENT OF COMPENSATION FOR MAYOR
WHEREAS, Section 2-1.1 of the Charter provides in part that commencing April 20, 1971, and
thereafter, the elected Mayor shall receive a monthly compensation of $200.00, payable at the time and
in the manner as shall be fixed by the Council, and which compensation shall be in addition to that
provided in Sections 2-4 and 6-4 of said Charter;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Mayor elected
pursuant to said Section 2-1.1, shall be paid the stated monthly compensation, in arrears, on the fifth
day of each calendar month, in one sum of $200.00, less required withholdings, the first such payment
to be made on May 5, 1971; provided, that should said fifth day fall on a legal holiday the payment
shall be made on the immediately preceding business day.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
20th day of April, 1971, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Fore, Levy, Longaker, McCall and President Le Croix, Jr., (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
