Resolution 07767CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 7767 APPROVING FINAL MAP OF SUBDIVISION KNOWN AS TRACT 3258, AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS THEREIN, APPROVING FAITHFUL PERFORMANCE BONDS AS TO SUFFICIENCY, AND ACCEPTING CERTAIN EASEMENTS AND PARCELS OF LAND (BRADDOCK & LOGAN, A COPARTNERSHIP, SUBDIVIDERS) WHEREAS, pursuant to Article 1, Chapter 3, Title XI of the Alameda Municipal Code, there has heretofore been filed with and approved by the Council a Tentative Map of that certain proposed subdi- vision known as Tract 3258; and WHEREAS, Braddock & Logan, a copartnership comprised of Robert C. Braddock and R. H. Logan, subdividers herein, have presented to the Council for approval a Final Map of that proposed subdivision known as Tract 3258; and WHEREAS, said subdividers have entered into an agreement with the City of Alameda to construct and complete the public improvements in said subdivision and the improvement of Catalina Avenue along the southerly boundary of said subdivision and adjacent to Tracts 2936 and 3015, and to post with the City Clerk of the City of Alameda bonds in the amounts of $640,500.00 and $28,500.00, respectively, to guarantee full and faithful performance of said work, all in accordance with said Article; and WHEREAS, said Final Map delineates thereon certain easements and parcels of land dedicated to the public and a certain parcel of land granted to the City of Alameda; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Final Map of Tract 3258 be, and hereby is approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the agreement for construction and completion of the public improve- ments in said subdivision, and all its terms and conditions, be and hereby is approved, and the City Manager and the City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute and attest to, respectively, said agree- ment on behalf of the City of Alameda. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bonds in the sums of $640,500.00 and $28,500.00, respectively, to guarantee full and faithful performance of the subdividers said public improvements construction contract, are hereby approved as sufficient in amount. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said easements and parcels of land dedicated to the public are hereby accepted, on behalf of the public, for use in conformity with the terms of the offers of dedication, and said parcel of land granted to the City of Alameda, designated on said Final Map as Parcel "A" is hereby accepted. * * * * * * * * * * I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 4th day of MO, 1971, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Fore, Levy, Longaker, McCall and President La Croix, Jr., (5).
