Resolution 07825259 CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 7825 ACCEPTING RESIGNATION OF TREASURER AND DESIGNATING PERSON TO PERFORM DUTIES DURING VACANCY OF OFFICE WHEREAS, the Treasurer-ex officio Tax Collector of the City has submitted his resignation, effective September 1, 1971, from that office; and WHEREAS, the City Charter provides that in the event of a vacancy in said office, the ranking deputy or assistant shall, during such vacancy, perform the duties thereof; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the said resignation of the City Treasurer-ex officio Tax Collector, is hereby accepted as of September 1, 1971; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, during the vacancy in said office after said resignation, the ranking assistant employed by the City therein is designated to perform the duties of such office, as provided for and in accordance with Section 2-10 of the City Charter. * * * * * * * * * * I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 17th day of August, 1971, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Fore, Levy, Lonyaker, McCall and President Le Croix, Jr., (5).
