AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT CREATING,
AND ESTABLISHING POWERS AND DUTIES OF, A REGIONAL CRIMINAL
JUSTICE PLANNING BOARD
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Mayor and City Clerk be, and
each hereby is, authorized to execute and to attest to, respectively, on behalf of the City, an agree-
ment, pursuant to Title 1, Division 7, Chapter 5 of the Government Code of California, with other
municipalities within the County of Alameda which provides for the creation and sets forth the powers
and duties of a joint agency to be known as the ''Regional Criminal Justice Planning Board," said joint
powers agreement to be substantially in the form, and containing the terms, conditions and covenants
of that heretofore filed in the office of the City Clerk and marked, "Filed, September 2], 1971."

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that tne foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
21st day of September, 1971, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Fore, Levy, Longaker, McCall and President La Croix, Jr., (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
