Resolution 07853292 CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 7853 AUTHORIZING CITY TO JOIN AS AMICUS CURIAE IN U. 5. SUPREME COURT LITIGATION INVOLVING COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES (LOCAL LICENSING ORDINANCES) BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that upon the recommendation of the City Attorney, and with the consent of the City Manager, that the City be and hereby is authorized to join with other interested California cities and counties in an amicus curiae (friend of the court) brief on behalf of petitioner, the County of Los Angeles, for a writ of certiorari directed to the United States Supreme Court, wherein said petitioner seeks a reversal of the decision of the state Supreme Court reported in Perrine vs. Municipal Court, 3 Cal. Reports 3d at page 656, and the City Attorney is authorized to undertake such proceedings therein, in cooperation with the County Counsel of Los Angeles, as the City Attorney may deem appropriate. * * * * * * * * * * I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 2nd day of November, 1971, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Fore, McCall and President La Croix, Jr„ (3).
