DECLARING INTENTION OF CITY TO REDEEM ALL SERIES A OFF-STREET
PARKING REVENUE BONDS ISSUED PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION 110. 5312,
ADOPTED APRIL 24, 1956, AND AUTHORIZING REDEMPTION PROCEDURE
PROVIDED IN ARTICLE IV OF SAID RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA:
1. That it is in the best public interest, and this Council so finds, determines and
declares its intention, that the City, pursuant to Resolution No, 5312, adopted April 24, 1956,
redeem on June 1, 1972, $36,000.00 principal amount of its Off-Street Parking Revenue Bonds,
Series A, dated June 1, 1956, due June 1 of the successive years 1972-1974, said bonds being all of
those presently outstanding and issued under authorization of said Resolution.
2. That the Fiscal Agent and the City, acting by its City Clerk, undertake, pursuant to
Article IV of said Resolution, publication of the notices of such redemption and any and all other
procedures as are required to effect redemption of the Series A Bonds hereinabove described.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
7th day of March, 1972, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Fore, Levy, Longaker, McCall and President La Croix, Jr., (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
