CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 7925
ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING TO THE CITY OF
ALAMEDA CLASS "B" PORTLAND CEMENT CONCRETE TRANSIT MIX
FOR FISCAL YEAR 1972-73, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING
CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and Provisions
for furnishing Class "B" Portland Cement Concrete Transit Mix to the City of Alameda for the fiscal
year ending June 30, 1973, No. MS 5-72-1, filed in the office of the City Clerk on May 16, 1972,
be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to
the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, MAY 26, 1972, for furnishing to the City of said materials,
in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk,
in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on -Cue outside,
"Proposal for Portland Cement Concrete Transit Mix-Fiscal Year 1972-73," or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of said
City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to
reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice
calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifi-
cations and Provisions.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
16th day of May, 1972, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Fore, Levy, Longaker, McCall and President La Croix, Jr., (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
