APPOINTING ELLEN SCHMALENBERGER TREASURER AND EX-OFFICIO
TAX COLLECTOR OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
WHEREAS, a vacancy exists in the office of Treasurer and ex-officio Tax Collector,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that pursuant to
Section 2-7 of the Charter, ELLEN SCHMALENBERGER be and hereby is appointed to the office of
Treasurer and ex-officio Tax Collector of the City of Alameda, commencing upon appointment and
qualification, and for the term prescribed by Section 2-8 of said Charter, said term to commence
June 20, 1972.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
20th day of ,June, 1972, by the following vote, to wit:
