CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO, 7965
REJECTING CLAIM OF LURAE E. JARRARD AGAINST CITY
(BUREAU OF ELECTRICITY)
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the claim for damages against
the Bureau of Electricity in the amount of $2,025.00 heretofore on June 13, 1972, filed by Lurae E.
Jarrard, whose address is 1227 Park Avenue, Alameda, California 94501, be rejected in its entirety
on the grounds (a) said claim is not a proper charge against the City or its Bureau of Electricity,
and (b) said claim is not timely filed; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice of said rejection be by mailings of certified copies
of this resolution to said claimant at said address and to F. Hayden Curry, Esq., Attorney at Law,
4600 E. 14th Street, Oakland, California:
"NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the claim which you presented to the City of
Alameda on June 13, 1972, was rejected on July 18, 1972.
WARNING
"Subject to certain exceptions, you have only six months from the date this
notice was personally delivered or deposited in the U. S. Mail to file a
court action on this claim.
"You may seek the advice of an attorney of your choice in connection with
this matter. If you desire to consult an attorney, you should do so
immediately."

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
18th day of July, 1972, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Levy, Longaker and President La Croix, Jr., (3).
NOES: None,
ABSENT: Councilmen Fore and McCall, (2).
