CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 7968
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION AND
COMPLETION OF IMPROVEMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH PARCEL MAP
NO. 818 AND APPROVING FAITHFUL PERFORMANCE BOND AS TO
SUFFICIENCY (DIVISION OF A PORTION OF LOT 2, BLOCK 11,
TRACT 1898 -- ALAMEDA CONVALESCENT HOSPITALS INC.)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 11.319.1 of the Alameda Municipal Code, there has been
presented to this Council a Parcel Map, designated Parcel Map No. 818, and heretofore conditionally
approved by the Planning Board, being a division of a portion of Lot 2, Block 11, Tract 1898
(between Otis Drive and Westline Drive), in the City of Alameda, by Alameda Convalescent Hospitals
Inc., a California corporation; and
WHEREAS, said approval by the Planning Board is conditioned upon the execution by subdivider
of an agreement to construct and complete certain public improvements on said property; and
WHEREAS, said subdivider has entered into such an agreement and has posted its bond guar-
anteeing full and faithful performance of said work, all in accordance with said section; and
WHEREAS, it will be to the benefit of the City to have said work performed in accordance
therewith;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the agreement for
the construction and completion of the improvements in the division of a portion of Lot 2, Block 11,
Tract 1898 (between Otis Drive and Westline Drive), designated as Parcel Map No. 818, by Alameda
Convalescent Hospitals Inc., be, and the same hereby is, approved, and the City Manager is authorized
and directed to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, said agreement on behalf of the City; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bond in the sum of $3,000.00, guaranteeing full and faithful
performance of said contract, is hereby approved as sufficient in amount.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
15th day of Auyust, 1972, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Fore, Levy, McCall and President La Croix, Jr., (4).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Longaker, (1).
