AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH STATE
OF CALIFORNIA RELATING TO INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC CONTROL
SIGNAL SYSTEM AND SAFETY LIGHTING AT INTERSECTION OF OAK
STREET WITH STATE HIGHWAY ROUTE 61 (ENCINAL AVENUE)
BE LT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Mayor be and hereby is
authorized to execute on behalf of the City an agreement with the State of California, acting
through the Division of Highways of its Department of Public Works, providing for joint participation
in the sharing of costs and other things in the installation of traffic control signal system and
safety lighting at the intersection of Oak Street with State Highway Route 61 (Encinal Avenue), all
of which is situated within tne City of Alameda, and the City Clerk is directed to attest to said
execution, said agreement to be substantially in the form of that on file in the office of the City
Clerk and marked, 'Filed, October 3, 1972."
