CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 8001
ADOPTING ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT RESPECTING SUBDIVISION
TRACT 3422 PROPCSED BY BRADDOCK AND LOGAN (GARDEN ISLE
TOWNHOUSES)
WHEREAS, Braddock and Logan has proposed to construct a dwelling project in connection
with Subdivision Tract No. 3422, known as Garden Isle Townhouses and Patio Homes, to be located
on 46 acres of land near the easterly end of Bay Farm Island; and
WHEREAS, in connection therewith the subdivider has submitted a Final Map of said sub-
division, along with public improvement plans, to the City requesting approval thereof; and
WHEREAS, the City, in compliance with the state Environmental Quality Act of 1970, has
made and prepared an environmental impact report covering the effects said project and subdivision
will have on the environment, said effects being hereby found and determined to be significant;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the certain
document prepared by the City Planning Department entitled, "Environmental Impact Report of the
City of Alameda Regarding Subdivision Tract No. 3422, Proposed Project No. EIR 72-2," filed in the
office of the City Clerk on November 9, 1972, be and hereby is adopted as the said report required
by the state Environmental Quality Act of 1970, this Council finding said report to be in compliance
with said Act.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
21st day of November, 1972, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Fore, Levy, McCall and President Le Croix, Jr., (4).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Longaker, (1).
