CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 8005
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA COMMENDING
AND CONGRATULATING H. D. WELLER, CITY MANAGER, UPON HIS
ELECTION AS PRESIDENT OF THE INTERNATIONAL CITY MANAGEMENT
ASSOCIATION
WHEREAS, H. D. WELLER, City Manager, previously held the office of Regional Vice
President of the International City Management Association, during which time he contributed
significantly to the effectiveness of its activities through his many years of experience as
a City Manager and his expertise in the field of City government; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Weller has now brought further distinction to himself and great honor
to the City by his election to the office of President of the International City Management
Association for the year 1972-1973.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda does hereby
extend to Mr. Weller its sincere commendation and congratulations upon the occasion of his
election to this high office.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda does hereby express
to H. D. WELLER its best wishes for a most successful year as President of the International
City Management Association.
