CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 8007
AUTHORIZING ONE YEAR EXTENSION OF GOLF COURSE RESTAURANT
CONCESSIONAIRE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, pursuant to Council Resolution No. 7102, adopted February 21, 1967, the City
and Gary L. Schweitzer entered into an agreement under which the latter was granted the exclusive
right to vend food and beverages at the Alameda Municipal Golf Course Club House Restaurant and
at two refreshment stands situated on the Municipal Golf Courses, said agreement, including an
already-exercised option to renew for three years commencing January 1, 1969, terminating and
expiring December 31, 1971; and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 7857, adopted November 16, 1971, said agreement was extended
through December 31, 1972; and
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest, and is desired by both the City and said Conces-
sionaire, that said agreement be extended for a further term of one (1) year from said expiration
date;
NOW, THEREFORE, DE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the concession
agreement hereinabove referred to be and hereby is extended and renewed for a one year period
commencing January 1, 1973, and ending December 31, 1973, upon all of the covenants, terms and
conditions set forth in the firstmentioned contract, excepting the right in the Concessionaire to
renew further.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said extension shall become effective January 1, 1973, if
said Concessionaire shall have first filed with the City his written consent and agreement thereto.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
5th day of December, 1972, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Fore, Levy, Longaker, McCall and President La Croix, Jr., (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
