Resolution 08032CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO— 8032 REJECTING CLAIM OF CARL R. BROWNING AGAINST CITY BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the claim for damages against the City heretofore on December 18, 1972, filed by Carl R. Browning, whose address is 2715 Santa Clara Avenue, Alameda, California, he rejected in its entirety on the grounds said claim is not a proper charge against the City; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice of said rejection be in the following words and that a certified copy of this resolution be mailed to said claimant: "NOTICE TS f1CRE3Y GIVEN that the claim which you presented tc the City of Alameda on December 18, 1972, was rejected on March 6, 1973. WARNING Subject to certain exceptions, you have only six months from the date this notice was personally delivered or deposited in the mail to file a court action on this claim. See Government Code Section 945.6, YOU may seek the advice of an attorney of your choice in connection with this matter. If you desire to consult an attorney, you should do so immediately." * * * * * * * * * * I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 6th day' of March, 1973, by the following vote, to wit; AYES: Councilmen Fore, Levy, Longakor, McCall and President La Croix, Jr., (5).
