AMENDING SALARY RESOLUTION MO. 7959 BY CREATING ONE (1)
ADDITIONAL POSITION OF EIRE LIEUTENANT AND DELETING ONE
(1) POSITION OF FIREMAN IN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that Resolution No. 7959, adopted
July 14, 1972, be amended by creating one (1) additional position of Fire Lieutenant and deleting
one (1) position of Fireman in the Eire Department, as follows:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of this Resolution shall be April 1,
1973.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the provisions of this Resolution shall supersede those
portions of Resolution No. 7959, and of any other resolution in conflict herewith, and all such
conflicting provisions are, to the extent of such conflict only, hereby repealed.
