CITY OF ALAIMA RESOLUTION 7(10. 8051
ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS
FOR REStalFACING AND RECONSTRUCTION OF VARIOUS STREETS
IN THE CITY OF ALkMEDA, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING
CITY caau: TO ADVERTISE SALE
,,,anzaLs, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provision and
Plans for resurfacing and reconstruction of various streets in the City of Alameda,
lo. 3' 4-73-4, and filed in the office of the City Clerk on April 3, 1973;
HOW, TEZREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY IRE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALMHEDA that the said
Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, be, and the same are hereby approved and
adopted.
DR IT FUTRTHEER RESOLVED that the performance and completion uf the work specified in
said Specifications and Provisions be and the same is hereby authorized.
BE IT FURaINEE RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed
bids up to the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, APRIL 10, 1973, for furnishing to the
City of all labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work herein—
above referred to, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisimis. Bids must be
presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and
plainly marked an the outside, "Proposal for resurfacing and reconstruction of various
streets in the City of Alameda," or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded,wall be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of
the City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The
right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on appli-
cation to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times—Star, a notice
calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said
Specifications and Provisions.
