WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special provi5ion5 and Fans
for MINOR STRaET PATCHING WITH ACTT:AEI CONCRETE for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1974,
numbered FW 9-73-6, and filed with the City Clerk on May 1, 1973; and
DRPEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Frovioione and Flans
for REPAIR CR PORTLAND CEMENT CONCRETE SIDENAII, DRIVEWAY, CURB AND GUTTER for the fiscal year
ending ...Tune 3,), 1974, numbered F'f 5-73-7, and filed with the City Clerk on Nay 1, 1973; and
±1-0 ±±0, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plane
for the INSTALLATION OF HOUSE LATERALS fp= the street laterals to the property line, and other
work appurtenant thereto, for the fiscal year ending june 30, 1974, numbered PW 5-73-5, and
filed with the City Clerk on May 1, 1973;
HOW, THEREFORE, BE 1 RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY Cr AIAMELA that the aforesaid
Specifications, asocial Provisions and Plano, numbered and filed as aforesaid, be, and the same
are hereby approved and adopted.
EE IT FUHTHER RESOLVED that the performance and completion of the work specified in
said Specifications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby autherized.
at IT FURTHER FESOINED that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids
up to the hour of 11;00 o'clock a.m. on Friday, May 25, 1973, or the furnishing to the City of
all labor, materials and equipment necessary for said work, for the fiscal year ending June 30,
1974, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions individually prepared therefor.
Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, in Alameda, California, under sealed
cover and plainly marked on the outside with the designation of the fiscal year work to which
said bid applies.
Contract, if awarded, mall be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of said
City, to the responsible bidder who suboits the lowest and best bid. Me right is reserved to
reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on application
to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City- Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Tiaes-Star, a notice
calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolution. and. of said Specifi-
cations and Provisions.
