RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AIA10EDA that the Specifications and Provisions
for furnishing Class HE" Portland Cement Concrete Transit Mix to he City of Alameda for the
fiscal year ending June 30, 1374, No. NS 5-73-3, filed in the office of the City Clerk on
May 1, 19730 he, and the same are hereby approvn d. and adopted.
PE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council ef the City of Alameda will receive scaled bids
up to the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, MAY 25, 1973, for furnishing to the City of said
materials in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the
City Clerk, L. Ins City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the
outside, ”Proposal for Portland Cement Concre Transit lax — Fiscal Year 1973-74," or dim-liar
designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of said
City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to
reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times—Star, a notice
calling for sealed bids, in accordance with tho provisions of this resolution and of said
Specifications and Provisions.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
lat day of May, 1975, by the following vote, to wit:
