.21 RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL Cg THE CITY OF AIANF.2 A. that said Council will receive
sealed bids up to t1 hour of 1100 a.m. on WEDNESDAY, MAY 31, 1373, for the publication of
all legal advertising of said City during the fiscal year ending June 30, 1974,
Such advertising must be published in a newspaper of general circulation published
in Inc City of Alameda for a period of not less than one rear immediately preceding the making
of such bid and having a bona fide paid circulation of at least, 1,000 copies.
Said advertising shall be in accordance with the following specifications:
(1) All advertisements shall be set in solid six-point (nonpareil) type, in coluans of
24 ems to the line and 288 ems to the column inch, except that by request of the officer authori-
zing the same such advertisementiacrbe met in such a larger type and with such spacing between
lines as such officer may direct;
(2) Titles and sub-heading shall be set in six-point capitals (nonpareil), black-face
type, or in such larger type as may be specified by the officer authorizing the advertisement.
Bidders shall state in their proposals for doing said legal advertising the price per
column inch of 288 ems, set in solid sim-point (nonpareil) type, in columns of 24 ems to the
line, according to Inc. following schedule:
A price per column inch for the ist insertion;
R price per column inch for the 21 d insertion;
A price per column inch for the 3rd and for
each subsequent insertion.
Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the y Hall, Alameda, California, under

bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.

The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice
calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolution.
