WEEDERS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans
for the resurfacing of Maitland Drive from County Road to Melrose Avenue, No, Rig 0-73-8, and
filed in the office of the City Clerk on hay 17, 1973;
NOW THEREFORE, 10 1 RESOLVED BY 110 E COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALELEDA that the said
Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, be, and the same are hereby approved and
adopted,.
DC IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the performance and: completion of the work specified in
said Specifications and Provisions be and the same is hereby* authorized.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City Of Alameda will receive sealed bids
up to the hour of 11:00 ovelook a.m. or, FRIDAY, June 8, 1273, for furnishing to the City Of all
labor, materials, mac. inery- tools and equipment necessary for the 'work hereinabove referred. to,
in accordance mith said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to (1 City Clerk,
in the City Rail, Alameda,,California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside,
uProposal for Reswfacing of Maitland Drive from County Road to Melrose Ihvenue,,, of similar
designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be avarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the
City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who suhmits the lol,mst and best bid. The right is
reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions tuv be had by any prospective bidder on application
to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advortise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a. notice
calling for sealed bids, 13 accordance with. the provisions of this resolution. and of said
Specifications and Provisions.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted. by the Council of the City of Alameda in adjourned regular meeting
