ESTABLISHING INITIAL ThaUERSHIP OF
GOLF COMEISSION
WIDLREAS, Ordinance No. 1696 N.S., passed August 21, 1973, and effective September
21, 1973, added Sections 2-321 through 2-324 to the AlaMeda Municipal Code creating the Golf
Commission of the City of Alameda, set forth the purpose and duties and provided far the
membership thereof; and
WHEREAS, Section 1 of said Ordinance provides that of the first five regular mem-
bers of said Commission, one shall ho appointed for a period of one year, one for a period
of two years, two for a period of three years, and one for a period of four years;
NOW, THEBEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BT THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LLAtI'D,^, that upon
nomination in the manner required by said Ordinance the following persons are hereby
appointed as initial members of the Golf Commission of the City of Alameda, to -Lake office
on October 1, 1973, for the period of time specified:

Donald J. Gehb 3 years September 30, 1976

DE 11 673262: RESOLVED that the following incumbent Councilmen are hereby appointed
ex-officio members of said Commission, as provided in said Ordinance, for terms commencing
October 1, 1973, and continuin thereafter at the pleasure of the City Council:
