REJECTD1G CLAIM 00 UNDERWRITERS ADJUSTING COMPANY AGAINST CITY
09 IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the claim for damages to
Cherry Brothers Moving & Storage Company again the City in the amount of S713.11 heretofore
on June 19, 1973, filed by Underwriters Adjusting Company, be rejected in its entirety on
the grounds said claim is not a proper charge against the City; and
ES IT RIMER RESOLVED that notice of said rejection be in the following words and
that a certified copy of this resolution be mailed to said claimant,s representative,
Mr. J. H. Vanderhorst, Supervising Adjuster, Underwriters Adjusting Comoany, 1990 N. California
Blvd., Suite 530, Walnut Creek, California 94596:
',NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the claim which you presented
to the City of Alameda on June 19, 1973, was rejected on
September 18, 1973.
WARIMIG
Subject to certain exceptions, you have only six months
from the date this notice was personally delivered or
deposited in the mail to file a court action on this
claim. See Government Code Section 945.6.
You may seek the advice of an attorney of your choice
in connection with this matter. IS you desire to con-
sult an attorney, you should do so immediately."
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution 1,as duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
18th day of September, 1973, by the following vote, to wit:
