Resolution 08142140') CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 8142 REJECTING CLAIM OF FOOTHILL VALLEY INSURANCE AGENCY AGAINST CITY BE IT RESOLVED EY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the claim for damages to John L. Coons against the City heretofore on November 20, 1973, filed by Foothill Valley Insurance Agency, be rejected in its entirety on the grounds said claim is not a proper charge against the City; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice or said rejection he in the following words and that a certified copy of this resolution be mailed to said claimant's representative, Mr. Jack W. Heath, Foothill Valley Insurance Agency, 2381 El Camino Avenue, Sacramento, California 95821.: "NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the claim which you presented to the City of Alameda on November 20, 1073, was rejected on December 11, 1973. WARNING Subject to certain exceptions, you have only six months from the date this notice was personally delivered or deposited in the mail to file a court action on this claim. See Government Code Section 945.6. You may seek the advice of an attorney of your choice in connection with this matter. If you desire to consult an attorney, you should dc so immediately." I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in adjourned regular meeting assembled on the llth day of December, 1973, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Corica, Hurwitz, McCall and President La Croix, Jr.,(5).
