RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA IN COMMENDATION OF
H.D. WELLER ON HIS RETIREMENT AS CITY MANAGER
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA records with great admiration and esteem the
:Long period of service faithfully rendered by Mr. H. D. WELLER as City Manager.
WHEREAS, Mr. Weller's Service since his employment by the City of Alameda on
October 10, 1957, has reflected the highest standards of dedication to the proper growth
and development of the City, and has demonstrated his ability as a splendid administrator;
and
WHEREAS, Mr. Weller has brought distinction and great honor to the City during
his tenure in office as President of the International. City Management Association for the
year 1972-1973.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda hereby
commends Mr. Weller for his effective leadership and the devoted service rendered to the
community in the interests of its citizens.
BE TT FURTLER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda hereby extends to
Mr. H. D. WELLER sincere felicitations upon his retirement and best wishes for good health
and much happiness in the future.
