CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 8148
REJECTING CLAIM OF CALIFORNIA STATE AUTOMOBILE
ASSOCIATION AGAINST CITY
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the claim for
damages to Howard W. Moyer against the City heretofore on November 20, 1973, filed by
California State Auotmobile Association, be rejected in its entirety on the grounds said
claim is not a proper charge against the City; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice of said rejection be in the following words
and that a certified copy of this resolution be mailed to said claimant's authorized rep-
resentative, P. M. Twomey, Subrogation Examiner, California State Automobile Association,
Inter-Insurance Bureau, 150 Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco, Califonria 94101:
'NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the claim which you presented to
the City of Alameda on November 20, 1973, was rejected on
January 2, 1974.
WARNING
Subject to certain exceptions, you have only six months from
the date this notice was personally delivered nr deposited in
the mail to file a court action on this claim. See Government
Code Section 945.6.
You may seek the advice of an attorney of your choice in con-
nection with this matter. If you desire to consult an attorney,
you should do no immediately.'

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 2nd day of January, 1974, by the following vote, to wit:
