REENDING RESOLUTION NO, 6232 BY AMENDING SECTION 2c
TUEREOF, TO INCLUDE POLICE AIDES AS EGRLOYEES OF
POLICE DEPARTNENT 7777 771 TO HOLIDAY GAY RATES
ES IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA. that Resolution Mo. 7232 be amended
by amending Section 2c thereof to read:
no. Holiday Ray for Police Denartment.
All employees of the Police Department, including Police
Aides, but excepting the Police Chief, clerks, stenographers,
or other civilian employees, shall be paid additional compeng
sation for holidays at the straight time daily rate of
1/21.67 07 7777. reamer monthly salaries. This provision
applies to the holidays set forth in subsection (g) of this
Section 2, excepting those listed as Nos. (13) and (14)
under said subsection (g).
',In the event any of the aforementioned_ holidays
shall fall within the vacation period of said employees,
the Department Head shall detelnine whether the employees
affected shall he paid additional compensation for such
holiday or holidays, at the rate in these paragraphs pro-
vided, or be allowed. agditional vacation time to compensate
for the loss of such holiday or holidays.n
