REJECTIVG CLAIN OF ALAkEDA-CCUTRA COSTA
TRANSIT DISTRICT AGAINST CITY
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AIJMEDA that the claim for damages to
Aloe C. Glesener against the City heretofore on January 22, 1974, filed by Alameda-Contra Costa
Transit District, be rejected in its entirety on the grounds said claim is not a proper charge
against the City; and
191 IT FURTHEr RESOLVED that notice of said rejection be in the following words and
that a certified copy of this resolution :be mailed to said claimant's representative, Mr. Frank
W. Cardin, Claim Supervisor, Alameda-Contra Costs Transit District, 508 - 16th Street, Oakland,
California 94612:
"FCTICE 119 HEREBY GIVER that the claim which you presented to the
City of Alameda on January 22, 1974, was rejected on March 19, 1974.
WARNING
Subject to certain exceptions, you have only six months from the
date this notice was personally delivered or deposited in the mail
to file a court action on this claia. See Government Code Section
945.6.
You may seek the advice of an attorney of your choice in connection
with this matter. If you desire to consult an attorney, you should
do so immediately.,
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
l9th day of March, 1974, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Corica, Hurwitz, McCall and
President La Croix, Jr., (5).

ABSENT: None.
