FOR RESURFACING AND MINOR REPAIRS OF VARIOUS STREFM,
CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CHEEK TO ADVERTISE

WhIErarAS, the it Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans for
thh resurfacing and minor renadora of various streets in the City of Alameda, No. PU 4,74-2, and
filed in the office of the City Clerk on April 2, 1974;
NOW THEREFORE, PE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TAW CITY OF ALAMEDA that the said Specifi-
cations, Special Provisions and Plans, be, and the same 11 hereby approved. and. adopted-
FEE IT FURTHER RESOMIED that the performance and completion of tho work specified. in said
Smecifications and. Provisions be and the same is hereby authorized.
Ph IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the "1 of Alameda will receive sealed bids
up to the hour of' 11:00 ofclock 1.0 1, on FRIDAY, APRIL 19, ,0. for furnishing to the City of
all labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred
to, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions, 330,3 130, bo presented 1. .30 City
Clerk, in the City Hall„ Alameda, California, under pealed cover and plainly marked or, the outside,
Ahrohosal for Resurfacing and Wranor .10 3013 of Various Streets,A or sisrilar designation.
Contract, if avoided, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the
City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest a1 d. best bid. The right is
reserved to '17001 any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by- a11 y. prospective bidder on application
to the 1 Engineer, at his office in the City Mall, Alameda, Califoruia.
The City. Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Tdmes-Ster, a notice
calling for
11 "3 bids, in accordance with the provisions of thia resolution and of said
Specifications and Provisions.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Mesaintion was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by. the Council of the City of Alameda in regular mactire assembled on the
