AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH SOUTHERN
PACIFIC TRANSPORTATION COMPANY FOR CONSTRUCTION OF
A ROADWAY AND FOR INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF
PROTECTIVE DEVICES ON BLANDING AVENUE CROSSING
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Mayor and City Clerk be
and each hereby is authorized and directed on behalf of the City of Alameda, as its corporate
act and deed and under its corporate name and seal, to execute and to attest to respectively,
an agreement with Southern Pacific Transportation Company with respect to the construction of
roadway, grade crossing, and protective devices at the Blanding Avenue crossing, of Company's
tracks in the City of Alameda, which said agreement shall be substantially in the words and
figures set forth in that certain agreement heretofore placed on file in the office of the
City Clerk and marked, "Filed, April 16, 1974."

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on
the 16th day of April, 1974, by the following vote, to wit:
