CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 8231
APPOINTING MEMBER CF THE SOCIAL SERVICE BOARD
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that pursuant to the provisions
of Article X of the Charter of the City of Alameda, and upon nomination of the Mayor, MRS. LELIA
L. BURTON is hereby appointed to the office of member of the Social Service Board of the City
of Alameda for a term commencing on July 1, 1974 and expiring on June 30, 1977, and to serve
until her successor is appointed and is qualified.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
2nd day of July, 1974, by the following vote, to alt:
AYES: Councilmen Beckaan, Hurwitz, MCCall and Vice President Ccrlca, (G).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: President La Croix, Jr., (1).
