Resolution 08237265 CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO 8237 APPROVING FINAL MAP OF SUBDIVISION KNOWN AS TRACT 3559, AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS THEREIN, APPROVING FAITHFUL PERFORMANCE BOND AS TO SUFFICIENCY, AND ACCEPTING CERTAIN EASEMENTS AND PARCELS OF LAND (BRADDOCK & LOGAN, A COPARTNERSHIP, SUBDIVIDERS) WHEREAS, pursuant to Article 1, Chapter 3, Title XI of the Alameda Municipal Code, there has heretofore been filed with and approved by the Council a Tentative Map of that certain proposed subdivision known as Tract 3559-, and WHEREAS, Braddock & Logan, a copartnership comprised of Robert C. Braddock and R.H. Logan, subdividers herein, have presented to the Council for approval a Final Map of that proposed sub- division known as Tract 3559; and WHEREAS, said subdividers have entered into an agreement with the City of Alameda to construct and complete the public improvements in said subdivision and to post with the City Clerk of the City of Alameda a bond to guarantee full and faithful performance of said work, all in accordance with said Article; and WHEREAS, said Final Map delineates thereun certain easements and parcels of lard dedicated to the public and certain parcels of land granted to the City of Alameda; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Final Map of Tract 3559 be, and hereby is approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the agreement for construction and completion of the public improvements in said subdivision, and all its terms and conditions, be and hereby is approved, and the City Manager and the City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute and attest to, respectively, said agreement on behalf of the City of Alameda. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bond in the total sum of S354,200.00, guaranteeing full and faithful performance of the subdividers' said public improvements construction contract, is hereby approved as sufficient in amount. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said easements and parcels of land dedicated to the public are hereby accepted, on behalf of the public, for use in conformity with the terms of the offers of dedication, and said parcels cf land granted to the City of Alameda, designated on said Final Map as Parcel "A" and Parcel "6" are hereby accepted. * * * * * * * * I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 16th day of July, 1974, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Hurwitz and Vice President Corica, (3).
