AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF SERVICE CONTRACT WITH STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RELATING TO MODIFICATION OF EXISTING TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNAL SYSTEM
AT INTERSECTION OF CENTRAL AVENUE, ENCINAL AVENUE AND SHERMAN
STREET (STATE HIGHWAY ROUTE 61)
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Vice-Mayer be and
hereby is authorized to execute on behalf cf the City a service contract with the State of
California, acting through the Department of Transportation and its Business and Transportation
Agency, providing for joint participation in the sharing of costs in the modification of
existing traffic control signal system at the intersection of Central Avenue, Encinal Avenue
and Sherman Street (State Highway Route 61), within said City, and the City Clerk is directed
to attest to said execution, said contract to be substantially in the form of that on file in
the office of the City Clerk and marked, "Filed, July 16, 1974."
