AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT WITH URBAN MANAGEMENT CONSULTANTS OF SAN
FRANCISCO, INC., FOR PREPARATION OF CITY'S GCALS DEVELOPMENT
PROJECT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Vice-Mayor and City Clerk
be, and each hereby is, authorized and directed to execute and to attest to, respectively, on behalf
of the City, a written agreement for personal services with Urban Management Consultants of San
Francisco, Inc., by which the latter will prepare and submit a proposal for developing community goals,
as contemplated by the City of Alameda's application to the U.S. Derartment of Housing and Urban
Development under authority of Section 701 of the Housing Act of 1954, as amended, for financial
assistance for the undertaking of e Comprehensive Community Goals Study and Overall Program Design,
referenced in and authorized by Resolution No. 8201 of this Council and adopted May 7, 1574.
Said agreement shall provide, among other things, for payment to said Consultants for said
services of a sum not to exceed $58,792.00 and shall be substantially in the form of that heretofore
prepared and presented tc this Council and placed en file in the Office of the City Clerk marked,
"Filed, July 16, 1974."

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 6th
day cf August, 1974, by the following vote, to wit:

ABSENT: President La Croix, Jr., (1).
