RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA IN COMMENDATION
OF PARK DIRECTORS ROBERT RHODES AND FREDERICK LEIT7
WHEREAS, on July 26, 1974, Park Directors ROBERT RHODES and FREDERICK LETTZ, did exhibit
quick thought and action in pursuing, apprehending and detaining a juvenile responsible for the
theft of a bicycle from Krusi Park; and
WHEREAS, such alert action by Park Directors Rhodes and Leitz directly aided the
Alameda Police Department and deserves public recognition and acknowledgement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda, for and on
behalf of the people of the City, does hereby commend Park Directors Rhodes and Leitz for their
actions and involvement outside the realm of their normal duties.
SE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be presented to both MR, ROBERT
RHODES AND MR. FREDERICK LEITZ as an expression of appreciation of their meritorious act,
