CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION 80. 8271
REQUESTING CANCELLATION OF COUNTY TAXES ON REAL PROPERTY ACQUIRED
BY THE CITY OF ALAMEDA FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES (1317 PACIFIC AVENUE)"
WHEREAS, the real property situated in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State
of California, described es County Parcel No. 72-352-4 has been assessed heretofore for County
purposes for the fiscal year 1974-1975, and taxes levied thereon are uncollected and unpaid; and
WHEREAS, after the time said assessment and taxes became a lien an said real property,
it was, by Grant Deed recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of Alameda County on June 11,
1974 on Reel 3702, Image 802, Serial Nc. 74-75152, acquired, and ever since has been and now is
owned by the City of Alameda, and because of such public ownership is not subject to sale for
delinquent taxes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Alameda be, and it is hereby requested to make its order, and to take
such further proceedings as may be necessary, to cause all uncollected taxes, assessments, penalties
or costs charged or levied for County purposes upon the aforesaid parcel of real property, to be
cancelled; and that a record of such cancellation be made by the officer or officers having custody
of the record thereof, in accordance with the provisions of Section 4986 of the Revenue and Taxation
Code of the State of California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk forward four (4) certified copies of this
Resolution forthwith to the Board of Supervisors of the County of Plameda.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City cf Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
let day of October, 1974, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Eeckam, Corica, Hurwitz and President La Croix, Jr., (4).
NOES: None,
ABSENT: Councilman McCall, (1).
