CANCELLING CITY TAXES ON PROPERTY ACQUIRED BY THE CITY OF
ALAMEDA FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES _(1317 PACIFIC AVENUE)
WHEREAS, certain real property situate in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda,
State of California, more particularly described as AB 248/7 and commonly designated at 1317
Pacific Avenue, Alameda, California, has been assessed heretofore for the fiscal year 1974-1975
and taxes levied therecn are uncollected and unpaid; and
WHEREAS, after the time said taxes became a lien en said property it was by Grant Deed
recorded in the office of the County Recorder of Alameda County on June 11 1974, Reel 3702,
Image 802, Recorder's No. 74-75152, acquired and ever since has been and now is owned by the City
of Alameda for municipal purposes, and because of such public ownership is not subject to sale for
delinquent taxes;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA, with the written
consent of the Acting City Attorney attached hereto, that all uncollected taxes charged or levied
for City purposes upon the aforesaid real property, together with penalties and costs thereon he,
and the same hereby are, cancelled and the Auditor and the Tax Collector of the City of Alameda
are hereby authorized and directed to cancel same on their respective books.

I, Carter J. Stroud, Acting City Attorney of the City of Alameda, State of California,
do hereby consent to the cancellation of any and all uncollected taxes and assessments, and
penalties and costs thereon, charged or levied for City purposes upon the parcel of real property
described in the within Resolution.
