CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO, 9305
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH
RATCLIFF, SLAMA AND CADWALADER IN CONNECTION WITH PROPOSED
REMODELING OF BUILDING LOCATED AT 2417 CENTRAL AVENUE TO HOUSE
POLICE HEADQUARTERS
WHEREAS, the City contemplates remodeling and rehabilitating an existing building
located at 2417 Central Avenue, Alameda, California, into a facility to house the police
headquarters, and requires services of an architect to provide necessary design, construction
and other work in connection with said remodeling; and
WHEREAS, Ratcliff, Slama and Cadwalader are duly licensed architects and have
represented to the City they have the professional competence and ability to provide such
necessary work, and City relies upon said representations, and it is deemed in the City's best
interest to obtain the services of said Architects; and
WHEREAS, a form of contract between the City and said Architects has been submitted,
by which such services are to be rendered by the latter, and which encompasses the nature,
extent and scope thereof, and this Council is informed of the contents of that agreement;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Mayor
be and is hereby authorized to execute on behalf of the City, that certain proposed architec-
tural services agreement hereinabove referred to, as filed in the office of the City Clerk and
marked, 'Filed, January 21, 1975," and said Clerk is directed to attest to same,

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on
the 21st day of January, 1975, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Corica, McCall and President La Croix, Jr., (4).
NOES: Councilman Hurwitz, (1).
ABSENT: None,
