AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY AND JACK CUMMINGS
FOR PERFORMANCE OF SERVICES OF GOLF PROFESSIONAL AT ALAMEDA
MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSES
WHEREAS, Jack Cummings has since June 22, 1961, beer designated as, and pursuant to written
agreement therefor has satisfactorily furnished the services of, Golf Professional at the Alameda
Municipal Golf Courses, and it is mutually advantageous and ir the best public interest that a new
agreement between the City and said Golf Professional be entered into; and
WHEREAS, a form of agreement relating to the rights, duties and liabilities of the
Professional at said Courses has been filed in the office of the City Clerk and marked 'Filed,
February 18, 1975," ard the Council is informed of the terms and conditions thereof;
NOW THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Mayor and City
Clerk be, and each hereby is, authorized and directed to execute and to attest to, respectively,
for and on behalf of the City, that certain agreement hereirabove referred to, relating to the
rights, duties and liabilities by and between the Golf Professional and the City of Alameda, the term
thereof being for a period of five (5) years from March 1, 1975, with an option to renew for a second
five (5) year term upon agreement of both parties.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
18th day of February, 1975, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Ccrica, Hurwitz, McCall and President La Croix, Jr., (5).
NOES: None,
