POSITION OF ASSISTANT CIVIL ENGINEER AND ONE (1) POSITION OF
SENIOR STENOGRAPHER CLERK IN THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT; BY
CREATING A NEW POSITION OF GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE FOREMAN AND
A NEW POSITION OF GOLF COURSE IRRIGATION LEADMAN AND ESTABLISHING
THE SALARIES THEREFOR; AND BY DELETING THE CLASSIFICATION OF GOLF
COURSE MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR AND ONE (1) POSITION OF GOLF AND
PARK MAINTENANCE MAN
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that Resolution No. 8233, adopted
July 15, 1974, be amended by creating one (1) additional position of Jr. Civil Engineer and deleting
one (1) position of Assistant Civil Engineer; by creating one (1) position of Intermediate Typist-
Clerk and deleting one (1) position of Senior Stenographer Clerk; by creating the new positions of
one (1) Golf Course Maintenance Foreman and one (1) Golf Course Irrigation Leadman and establishing
the salaries therefor; and by deleting the classification of Golf Course Maintenance Supervisor
and one (1) position of Golf and Park Maintenance Man, as follows:

1/ Those regular full-time civil service employees in the classification of Asst. Civil Engineer,
and Jr. Civil Engineer, who are listed as being Registered Civil Engineers in the State of Calif.
shall be eligible to receive $35 per month in addition to their regular gross monthly salary.
Positions may be filled at either level, provided that the total does riot exceed three.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the provisions of this Resolution shall supersede those portions
of Resolution No. 8233, and of any other resolution inconflict herewith, and all such conflicting
provisions are, to the extent of such conflict only, hereby repealed.
