REjECTING CLAIM OF STATE FARM MUTUAL AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE COMPANY
AGAINST CITY
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the claim against the City
heretofore on February 18, 1975, filed by State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company, whose
address is 3033 Cleveland Avenue, Santa Rosa, California, he rejected in its entirety on the
grounds said claim is not a proper charge against the City; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice of said rejection be in the following words and that a
ified copy of this resolution be mailed to said Claimant's attorneys, Jageman & McGraw,
rneys at Law, 13201 San Pablo Avenue, San Pablo, California 94806:
'NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the claim which you presented to the City
of Alameda on February 18, 1975, was rejected on March 18, 1975.
WARNING
Subject to certain exceptions, you have only six months from the date
this notice was personally delivered or deposited in the mail to file a
court action or this claim. See Government Code Section 945.6.
You may seek the advice of an attorney of your choice in connection with
this matter, If you desire to consult an attorney, you should do so
immediately.'

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
18th day of March, 1975, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Corica, Hurwitz, McCall and President La Croix, Jr., (4),
NOES: None,
ABSENT: Councilman Beckam, (1).
