AMENDING SALARY RESOLUTION NO, 8050 RELATING TO COMPENSATION FOR
AND POSITIONS OF OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
(AUDITOR-ASSESSOR AND TREASURER-TAX COLLECTOR) TO ALLOW FOR A
TWO-STEP INCREASE
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 8050 authorized the following compensation and positions:

WHEREAS, salary adjustments afforded other employees at the beginning of the fiscal
year do not apply to the Auditor-Assessor and Treasurer-Tax Collector; and
WHEREAS, because of inflation, the annual five percent sten increase contemplated is no
longer realistic; and
WHEREAS, a one time two-step increase from 51,575 to $1,725 per month is necessary tc
maintain the salary relationship with the chief deputies;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the City
Manager is authorized and directed to permit a two-step increase from $1,575 to $1,725 per month
for each position,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of this resolution shall be at 8:00
o'clock p.m, on April 17, 1975,
