CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 8333
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION AND COMPLETION
OF IMPROVEMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH PARCEL MAP NO, 1274 AND APPROVING
CASH DEPOSIT AS TO SUFFICIENCY IN LIEU OF SURFTY PERFORMANCE BOND
(A DIVISION OF PROPERTY AT 1236 CAROLINE STREET- BERTRAM O. BRADFORD)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 11-319.1 of the Alameda Municipal Code, there has been
presented to this Council a Parcel Map, designated Parcel Map No, 1274, and heretofore conditionally
approved by the Planning Board being a division of the existing property at 1236 Caroline Street
into two smaller lots with a common easement access to the street by Bertram O. Bradford; and
WHEREAS, said aporoval by the Planning Board is conditioned upon the execution by
subdivider of an agreement to construct and complete certain public improvements cn said
property; and
WHEREAS, said subdivider has entered into such agreement and has posted ard deposited in
lieu of a surety performance bond a cash bond in the sum of 61,800.00 guaranteeing full and
faithful performance of said work, all in accordance with said section; and
WHEREAS, it 011 be to the benefit of the City to have said work performed in accor-
dance therewith;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the agreement
for the construction and completion of the improvements in the division of the property at 1236
Caroline Street, Alameda, California, designated as Parcel Mao No, 1274, by Bertram O. Bradford,
be, and the same hereby is, approved, and the City Manager is authorized and directed to execute
and the City Clerk to attest, said agreement on behalf of the City; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said cash bond, in lieu of a performance bond, is hereby
approved as sufficient in amount.
