CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 8346
ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING TO THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
ONE HUNDRED SIXTY-EIGHT (168) SPECIMEN SIZED TREES IN BOX
CONTAINERS FOR NORTHSIDE PARK, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING
CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and Provisions
for furnishing to the City of Alameda one hundred sixty-eight (168) Specimen Sized Trees in Box
Containers for Northside Park, No, MSP 5-75-5, filed in the office of the City Clerk on May 6, 1975,
be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids
up to the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, MAY 23, 1975, for furnishing to the City of said
trees, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City
Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside,
"Proposal for 168 Specimen Sized Trees in Box Containers for Northside Park," or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, W1 be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of said
City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to
reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice
calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifi-
cations and Provisions.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly ard regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 6th
day of May, 1975, hy the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Diament, Hurwitz, Sherratt and President Corica, (5),
NOES: None,
ABSENT: None.
