CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 8350
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION AND COMPLETION
OF IMPROVEMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH PARCEL MAP ND. 1569 AND APPROVING
FAITHFUL PERFORMANCE BOND AS TO SUFFICIENCY (JOHN BENTZEN, SUBDIVIDER)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 11-319.1 of the Alameda Municipal Code, there has been
presented to this Council a Parcel Map, designated Parcel Map No. 1569, and heretofore condi-
tionally approved by the Planning Board, being a division of Parcel 1 of Parcel Map No. 1367,
(property located along the tidal canal northerly of Clement Avenue at approximately Walnut Street),
in the City of Alameda, by John Bentzen; and
WHEREAS, said approval by the Planning Board is conditional upon the execution by subdi-
vider of an agreement to construct and complete certain public improvements on said property; and
WHEREAS, said subdivider has entered into such an agreement and has posted his bond
guaranteeing full and faithful performance of said work, all in accordance with said section; and
WHEREAS, it will be to the benefit of the City to have said work performed in accordance
therewith;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the agreement
for construction and completion of the improvements in the division of Parcel 1 of Parcel Map
No. 1367, by John Bentzen, be, and the same is, approved, and the City Manager is authorized and
directed to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, said agreement on behalf of the City; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bond in the sum of 825,000.00, guaranteeing full and
faithful performance of said agreement, is hereby approved as sufficient in amount.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in an adjourned regular meeting assembled
on the 27th day of May, 1975, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Diament, Hurwitz, Sherratt and President Corica, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
